It’s the end of my second day at Children With Diabetes, and I am that special combination of exhausted, happy and relieved that I haven’t felt since I was, like, 13.
My legs are cramping, my eyes are burning, and I’ve spent roughly $226 on chicken nuggets and refillable plastic cups in the last two days — but all is well.
I don’t have much to say (I can’t think), but I will leave you with this: a crazy stick-figure illustration that I was forced to create in a focus group by an ill-informed Novo Nordisk facilitator.

At least I got a blueberry-scented marker. Which could explain the picture.
I might be losing my mind, but I’m having lots of fun doing it.
Chicken nuggets, refillable cups, and a lot of laughs. 🙂
When is our next Florida meet up? Martin and I decided Orlando would be central for all three of our directions 🙂
I love reading this post now – over a week later – and knowing all the you (we!!) still had in store for us. So, have you unpacked? Finished laundry? Caught up on sleep? If you said NO to all three questions, I’m right there with you!! 🙂
